Code signing is the process of digitally signing executables to confirm the software author and guarantee that the code has not been altered or corrupted since it was signed. * No bugs reported since June 2017 MicroFEM 4.10.73: June 2017 * Bug fixed in Save residuals part of Optimization tool. MicroFEM 4.10.62: March 2014 * All x- and y-coordinates in files with 0.001 precision * 3DFACE is added to the list of entities to be drawn when a DXF file is loaded (Import | DXF file ...) * Several Help files updated. * Minor bug fixed in DXF drawing procedure. MicroFEM 4.10.56: April 2013 * Flux functons FLUXU( ) and FLUXV( ) are modified by taking the average nodal area aquifer thickness into account, rather than the aquifer thickness of the node. * Minor bug fixed in PATH command. MicroFEM 4.10.55: February 2013 * When the EVAL command is used to assign values to a parameter that is no part of the model yet, the corresponding unit will be added automatically. E.g. when there is no Xtra worksheet, the command EVAL x18=h1 will first add a worksheet with 18 cells (registers) to the model and then copy the heads of layer 1 to cell X18. * Several minor bugs fixed in the FemMesh grid generator. MicroFEM 4.10.42: October 2011 * Optimization tool: a translation error from FemInvers (DOS) to MicroFEM (Win) caused converging problems and related unsatisfactory results. During the new tests a few minor defects in the interface were also found and taken care of. * A new flux function is added to the list: Fluxb(i), where i = 1 .. 20 the number of aquifers in the model. Fluxb(i) computes the lateral nodal inflow across open model boundaries (i.e. all nodes with a fixed-head boundary condition), in m3/day. The computed values are equal to the water balance boundary inflow minus outflow component for each node. * The routine that computes the horizontal flow vectors in the nodes has been modified to handle heterogeneous conditions more accurately. The same code is used for flowlines and flux functions. MicroFEM 4.10.34: July 2011 * Rectangular raster image maps can be imported and displayed as background in all modes. This includes raster files of the types: bmp, png, tif (or tiff), jpg (or jpeg) and gif. Some types of tif-files are not supported (only a grey rectangle is displayed). To georeference the image map an associated world file is required with the same file name and the extension .bpw, .pgw, .tfw, .jgw or .gfw respectively. Further details can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_file To import a raster image file use: Main menu Import/Image file... * Several image maps can be displayed at the same time. * Main menu Options/Map... displays the imported file in the list of drawn objects. Here each background image can be switched on and off, or can be deleted. The brightness of the image(s) can be adjusted by the user by choosing a percentage between 0% (fully suppressed) and 100% (full brightness). By default this value is set to 50%. * The Import background maps option can also be used in the grid generator modes. One or more DXF and/or raster images can be loaded, even before fixed nodes are specified. The scale is initially set by MicroFEM to display all imported maps. The user can display any part of the map, using the four zooming and panning buttons. The present scale and cursor coordinates are given at the Status bar. MicroFEM 4.10.16: August 2010 * The EVAL command allows a translation of the grid location by assigning new values to the nodal coordinates x=(formula) e.g. x = x+107000, where x are x-coordinates of nodes; y=(formula) e.g. y = y+504000, where y are y-coordinates of nodes, * The EVAL command allows the marking of nodes in batch mode: mk=(formula) e.g. mk = -abs(q1) Nodes are marked when the formula produces a negative value, while all other nodes become non-marked. * The EVAL command allows the assignment of values to marked or to unmarked nodes only. This selection of a subset of the nodes can be a further specification of the subset selected by label=... e.g. S1=0.15 nodes=marked, which leaves the unmarked nodes unaltered and dc1=100 label=drain nodes=unmarked or dc1=100 nodes=unmarked label=drain which only effects unmarked nodes labelled drain. MicroFEM 4.10.12: March 2010 * Some features are added to the output summary ASCII file for a given simulation: - Total simulation run time - When m3error is specified the output shows for each time step: Node of Max Head Change and Layer of Max Head Change. * LWPOLYLINE is added to the list of entities to be drawn when a DXF file is read (Import | DXF file ...) * Help File system Upgrade for Windows Vista & Windows 7 MicroFEM 4.10.05: August 2009 * New exe-installer simplifies set-up on any Windows system accounting for user's administrative rights * Alter-grid mode (F9) checks for grid errors * 'Save settings' added to Menu/Files * Modified 'Show' menu and default settings in 3D viewer.
